The Northland Caregiver Podcast

Support, guidance, and resources for caregivers

A laptop displays the Northland Caregiver Podcast webpage, featuring a microphone icon, site menu, and a section for the latest podcast episode on caregiving, with the Duluth Aging Support logo at the top left.

The Opportunity

Caring for aging family members, loved ones, and friends can be rewarding and challenging. While the experience brings fulfillment, it can also feel isolating and overwhelming. Many caregivers struggle to balance their care recipient’s needs with their own, often searching for practical guidance to help navigate the ups and downs of caregiving.

The Solution

To help caregivers get practical support, we partnered with Dr. Mary Lou Donovan, a Registered Occupational Therapist, to develop, support, and micro-fund six pilot episodes of The Northland Caregiver podcast. In addition to offering expert advice on caregiving, the podcast answers real caregiver questions and provides valuable tips on prioritizing self-care.
