Be MinneSNOWta NICE Campaign

Making Duluth safer and more accessible, one sidewalk at a time

A laptop displays a website with a snowman in a red hat and scarf holding a shovel. The screen reads: "Let's make Duluth a better place to live all year long" with a red "Get involved" button.

The Opportunity

While the City of Duluth takes care of snow removal on city property, ensuring clear and safe sidewalks for all throughout the city requires collaboration from everyone in the community. This challenge presented a unique opportunity to encourage community involvement, strengthen connections, and make our city more accessible and welcoming for all ages—all year long.

The Solution

With a mission to make Duluth a more accessible and welcoming place year-round, we helped develop, support, and fund the Be MinneSNOWta NICE campaign. This community-driven initiative encourages residents to embrace the spirit of “Minnesota nice” by taking the BMN Pledge to help with snow removal support by keeping Duluth’s sidewalks clear of snow and ice.
