Age-Friendly Outreach Specialist

Connecting older adults and caregivers to vital resources

A smiling woman in a blue sweater stands behind a table covered with pamphlets and flyers. The tablecloth reads "Duluth Age-Friendly." She wears a name badge and stands in a bright room with a window behind her.

The Opportunity

A thriving community values, supports, and includes people of all ages. However, many older adults and caregivers face barriers to accessibility, inclusion, and essential resources. To create a more livable and welcoming Duluth, it’s vital to ensure that everyone, regardless of age, ability, or circumstance, has the opportunity to live and thrive.

The Solution

As part of the Duluth Age-Friendly initiative, we partnered with Zeitgeist Center for Arts & Community to support the role of an Age-Friendly Outreach Specialist. This position is essential in connecting older adults, caregivers, and individuals in underserved neighborhoods with vital resources and building a stronger, more accessible community for all ages and abilities.
