Damiano Center
The Damiano Center welcomes and serves all people in need without judgement. They are the largest emergency meal provider in Northeastern Minnesota, and they have the largest free store in Duluth. They offer programs and services to those in the need in the Duluth community.
Community Kitchen
- No questions asked for those who come for a meal
- Day old baker products and produce available for take home
- Breakfast 8:30 am – 9:30 am (Daily)
- Lunch 11:30 am – 1 pm ( Mon, Wed, Fri, Sat, and Sun)
- Dinner 5:00pm – 6:00 pm (Wed, Fri, Sat, Sun)
Free Store
- Store has clothing and household goods free of charge for those in need
- Hours are 9:00 am- 3 pm Mon-Wed, Fri
- Donations are accepted during open hours

Clothes That Work
- Work appropriate apparel for interviews and for those beginning a new job
- Must bring photo ID as well as proof of employment once you have a job
- Hours are 9:00 am- 3 pm Mon-Wed, Fri
- Shoppers are eligible every 6 months

Health Realization
- Cognitive skills- based program that helps individuals manage stress and work through barriers
- This is one of the few alternatives to twelve-step recovery programs in Duluth are
- Issues this program can help with: Stress management, Gaining a positive perspective, and Chemical dependency
- Wednesdays at 7:00 pm Open to Everyone
- Women’s Group Sundays at 7:00 pm

Community Services
- Provides information and referrals
- Hours are 9:00 am- 3 pm Mon-Wed, Fri
- Trained staff specialize in helping people with emergency needs
- Connections and resources are offered for: homelessness, chemical dependency, domestic abuse, unemployment, and mental health issues
- Direct services provided: hygiene items, mailboxes for homeless, household items, bus tokens, free telephone line, gas vouchers/ spend-down bus passes
